KCA’s English overnight summer camps in Germany are a great way to learn and practice English. We offer youths and teens ages 9 – 15 a full immersion English experience where academic English lessons are coupled with adventure activities led and taught by our trained native English-speaking teachers. All this in some of Germany’s most beautiful natural environments.

Adventurous experiences
Our overnight camps are designed to bring the English language to life with adventurous experiences that get our campers out of the classroom and quickly bonding and speaking with one another. One of our most popular excursions is the high ropes course (seen here). Others include downhill extreme scootering, mini-golfing, swimming centers, and hikes in the Black Forest.

Our morning English lessons bring the English language to life. Of course we do grammar and vocabulary, write compositions, create presentations and practice reading and writing comprehension, but we also go on outings, play games, and do cooperative group projects to make sure we don't just learn English, we live it.

After our lessons and excursions we have time to unwind. Each evening has its own theme – our sports evening is shown here. We also have games night, movie night, bingo night with prizes, and arts and crafts night.

English Overnight Camps for kids and teens in Germany
KCA’s English overnight summer camps in Germany are designed to immerse our campers in the English language, 24 hours a day for 7 straight days. As we all know, intense immersion in the language is the best way to learn English and at KCA we make it fun and memorable. Our campers leave camp with improved confidence and linguistic skills, good friends, and amazing memories.
At the beginning of each session, we provide a diagnostic test free of charge and place campers in the appropriate group. At each level, students focus on improving fluency and developing the necessary skills to become a successful language learner. Our teachers are all certified in TEFL and can target student’s weak points at any level. We focus on all four elements of English language each day (oral English, listening comprehension, reading comprehension, written composition) however there is heavy emphasis on spoken English as we find that in most classrooms students do not speak enough and we work to instill confidence in their spoken English abilities.
At KCA we don’t just learn English, we live it. That is why each afternoon, after lunch and our three instructional hours of English, we spend up to four hours on outings and adventures. These change week to week and include anything from mountain biking in the hills, visiting water parks, having an adventure in an escape room, playing sports such as tennis, basketball, baseball, lacrosse, going on city tours, bowling, laser tag and much, much more. Engaging in English during these real-life experiences helps to consolidate the academic English that we learn throughout the day. This functional English is vital in achieving fluency and at KCA that is what we strive to do.

Frequently asked questions
All of our camps are hosted in youth hostels certified by the German board of youth hostels. They are clean, safe, and in amazing locations. We provide full room and board with great meals, comfortable rooms and easy access to the wonderful activities and excursions we offer each afternoon.

Yes. Every year we welcome children from all over the globe who seek us out and come to our camps. We are known for our international atmosphere which promotes English language development by providing English as the common language among our campers.
Campers arrive at 15:30 on the first day of the session and depart at 10 on the last.
