Hi, I am Arianne and originally from Boulder, Colorado. I have been living in Berlin for the past six years, where I run my own studio as a private piano and voice teacher. I am passionate about languages and travel and am looking forward to having a great time at KCA Camps this year teaching English.Ā
Hi my name is Annika! I am from a small town in Erie Pennsylvania, U.S.A. I am currently studying Security and Risk Analysis at Penn State University Park, and I am TEFL-Certified English tutor, too. I enjoy singing, playing instruments, golfing, being active, and painting. My favorite thing to paint would be flower fields or starry skies. I am excited to work with the students this summer and meet all of you at Camp!
Hi! My name is Cherith and Iām from Northern Ireland where I work as a secondary school teacher, teaching food and nutrition. I love running and anything that involves the outdoors! I have worked at summer camps in England previously and I love teaching fun English lessons and getting involved in all the camp activities. I am excited to experience Edersee for the first time and to make great memories. Looking forward to meeting all of you!
Hello! Iām Carina, an avid runner and nature lover. I have a degree in English literature from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, United States. While I was attending Wartburg, I ran NCAA DIII cross country and track and field and served as a student leader for the Sustainability Department. I love learning languages and exploring new places!
Hi everyone, I am Emma and currently work as an English teacher in Barcelona, Spain. My hobbies are reading, writing and cooking I am really looking forward to meeting you all and going on adventures and learning more about you and helping you improve your English while having fun. Hey everyone! My name is Erin. Iām a British-German from Scotland with a degree in English Language and am a TEFL certified English tutor. Iāve always had a passion for teaching and have worked at a range of camps across Europe. I love traveling and meeting new people, and canāt wait to start my journey with KCA! In my spare time I love playing hockey, camping and hiking in the Scottish outdoors (and further afield), playing the saxophone, and crocheting. Iām looking forward to meeting you all this spring!
Hello, I'm Evie! Iām 25 years old and come from England, now living in Germany. I studied English at university and love helping students build confidence while learning the language in a fun way. Iāve been returning to work at KCA camps for the past five years because I really enjoy teaching and taking part in all the activities that make camp such a special experience. Outside of teaching, I enjoy climbing, cooking, and art! I love bringing positivity and energy into everything I do at camp.
Hey! I am Franny, I come from New York, and I am an incoming student at Trinity College Dublin. 2025 will mark my second year with KCA and I am thrilled to return to Erfurt in the summer! Iām a TEFL-certified English Teacher and love working with kids! My favorite activities at KCA are obstacle courses and face painting! See you all this summer!
I'm Gao, from a city called Rustenburg in the North West of South Africa. I'm passionate about teaching, travel and music (a great variety) , my favorite soccer team is Arsenal and this is the best time to be an Arsenal fan with the league in our grasp. I've been working with KCA since 2022 and have greatly enjoyed the camps and meeting the wonderful kids we have the pleasure of teaching.
Hello! My name is Gemma. I am British-Italian and currently studying at University in Bath but I regularly travel back home to Italy over the holidays. I have worked as an English tutor for Italian students in the past which was a great experience, and I found it so rewarding to see my students improve and become more confident in their language skills. Hello, my name isĀ Jaelyn, but I also go by Jae. I am from Connecticut, USA. I have been living in Germany since July 2024. I have worked in private schools for the past three years in both Germany and the US. As a child, I always attended summer camps, which were some of my fondest memories. In America, I was also a coordinator for a kids' camp at a local community college for about 4 years, and before that, I worked as an assistant teacher at those camps for two years. I am a huge animal lover, and my favorite animal is a cow. In my free time, I enjoy reading, crafts, and binge-watching TV series.Ā

Hello everyone! I am an American from Kenosha, Wisconsin. Iāve lived in many different places, including 8 different states in America, London-England, and most recently Japan. I love traveling and exploring new places, people and cultures. Iāve been a teacher for 10 years. I love making learning fun and applicable for students and love nothing more than seeing that ālightbulbā moment go off when they make connections and the joy that comes from those experiences.
Hi! My name isĀ Joachim and I'm from Australia. I speak English and Spanish, since I spent a couple of years of my schooling in Spain. Outside of camp, you'll find me hiking, doing CrossFit, or at the beach trying, and mostly failing, to surf. Football has been a huge part of my life, I've played most of my life and spent two years volunteering as a coach for my local club. I'm so excited to be in Germany, to meet so many wonderful people, and to be a part of KCA this summer. See you at camp!
Hi, Iām Joy! I was born in Germany but moved to New Zealand when I was 12. I live on a farm in New Zealand and love everything outdoorsāsurfing, swimming, and hiking are some of my favourite things to do. I'm a swim teacher and lifeguard andĀ have also been teaching dance for the past few years. Iām excited to continue this passion at KCA Edersee. I canāt wait to meet all of you this summer!

In my free time, I love reading, swimming and studying languages. I speak English, French, and some German. One of the best parts of working at KCA is connecting with both new and returning campers. Hello! Iām Katie. Iām from Canada and moved to Germany at the beginning of this year. I have a bachelorās degree in teaching English as a second language, and I love being an English teacher. Iāve taught English in Canada, Korea, and Germany. Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing volleyball, doing crafts, and spending time in the sunshine whenever I can. Hi, I'm Kristin! I was born in Germany but grew up in London, UK. During the winter, I work as a snowboard instructor for kids of all ages, most recently in Japan. I love being active and outdoors as well as travelling the world and learning about different cultures. I'm excited to spend the summer with KCA and can't wait to meet you!
Lauren is from near San Francisco, USA and lives in Oregon. Lauren is a musician, and music and TEFL teacher who loves meeting new people, exploring, hiking, crafting, and spending time with her cat!
She also loves to travel and explore the world and will be joining us in Erfurt this summer for plenty of creative camp fun
Hey, I'm Lea and I live in the beautiful city of Freiburg, right next to the Black Forest, where I am finishing my studies in social work. I love crafting, especially sewing, hiking in the forest, and over the last couple of years I've gotten really into kickboxing. I've always believed that languages open up whole new worlds, and I have always enjoyed sharing that passion with others. Hello! My name is Madeline. I graduated in 2023 with a Bachelors in Writing and French Studies, and have since pursued a life abroad, away from my home town in Michigan/ USA. I have become passionate about teaching this past year, and living in new countries. After spending two years in the eastern part of France as an au pair and English teacher, I am looking forward to exploring Germany. Hi, my nameās Nick! Iām a German-American from San Bernardino, California (home of the first McDonalds)! Iāve just finished my voluntary social year in political education, and am now pursuing a European Studies degree. Back in the States, I worked for three different summer camps, a āModel United Nationsā club, an Outdoor Science School, and I was even a Cast Member at Disneyland! I recently spent an exciting year teaching English in Prague. Outside of class, youāll often find me reading a book, taking a nature walk, or rehearsing a new campfire skit!

Sadhbh comes from Ireland and is currently studying Clinical Speech and Language Studies in Trinity College, Dublin. She grew up living abroad and has lived in seven countries around the world, including Ireland! Sadhbh is passionate about travelling and I am excited for her first trip to Germany.
