KCA’s Overnight English Camp in Schöneck, Saxony, offers the perfect blend of English and exciting outdoor adventures. Our camp for children and teens aged 9 to 16 is led by experienced, native-speaking teachers. Campers are grouped by their English level to ensure everyone gets the support they need. It’s a unique opportunity to improve your English while enjoying an unforgettable week filled with sports, adventure, and fun. Each afternoon features exciting activities like visiting the high ropes course, a trip to the local swimming pool, exploring a traditional mine, or playing bubble football. Evenings are packed with fun – we roast S’mores around the campfire, get creative with tie-dye, play bingo, or throw a lively disco party. KCA’s English overnight summer camp in Schoeneck-Sachsen offers an exciting blend of outdoor adventure and English learning. Each morning, campers participate in structured English lessons in small groups, with a focus on immersion. The lessons are led by experienced native English-speaking teachers, and a placement test on the first day ensures that each child is grouped according to their English proficiency. The afternoons are dedicated to outdoor activities and excursions, including high ropes courses, swimming, hiking, and more, providing plenty of opportunities for fun and learning. Campers also enjoy themed nights such as movie screenings, campfires with s’mores, and disco parties.

The Youth Hostel Schoeneck, located in a scenic skiing and biking resort, serves as the camp’s accommodation. The recently renovated hostel offers modern amenities, including 4-bed rooms with en-suite showers and toilets, as well as cozy common areas and seminar rooms for lessons. The surrounding area, known as the “balcony of the Vogtland,” is ideal for outdoor activities such as beach volleyball, downhill biking, and hiking. Campers can also enjoy other recreational activities, including bowling and archery, all within a safe and beautiful environment that enhances their overall camp experience.

Youth Hostel Schoeneck
The youth hostel is located on the outskirts of the town of Schöneck in a skiing and biking resort. Also known as the balcony of the Vogtland, the region offers ample opportunity not only for winter sports and hiking, but also for excursions to the nearby ropes course, adventure pool, mountain bike trails, bowling alley, and more.

Campers are housed in beautiful 4-bed rooms with en suite showers and toilets. The hostel was rebuilt in 2020 and now offers cozy common areas and state-of-the-art seminar rooms. There is a wide range of possibilities for sports and leisure activities in and around the hostel, such as beach volleyball fields, barbecue areas, table tennis, a playground, and more.

Our campers are provided with delicious full-board catering at the youth hostel. This includes a generous breakfast buffet and hot meals for lunch and dinner.

If your child has any allergies or special dietary requirements, simply let us know in our check-in form after booking!

The qualified counselors on-site are native speakers from various countries and ensure that your child enjoys a carefree holiday while being well cared for. They also act as English teachers, providing a consistent point of contact throughout the week. All our camps maintain a 1:8 staff-to-camper ratio.

Arrival: Sundays at 16:00 PM
Departure: Saturdays at 09:30 AM
Please note: Every Sunday at 16:30 PM, a welcome ceremony takes place, and every Saturday at 10:00 AM, there is a closing/certificate ceremony.
