Our English Overnight Summer Camp in Munich is one of the most unique experiences KCA offers. Located in a gorgeous castle, originally built in 1843 but recently renovated with modern rooms and facilities, this amazing location offers our campers both history and nature. Even so, it is easily accessible with a train station nearby so we can travel to and from the Munich city center whenever one of our exciting excursions calls for it. Of course, mornings are dedicated to English learning in comfortable seminar rooms led by our experienced native English teachers and all campers complete a placement test on the first day of camp so that they can be grouped by English level. Nestled in the stunning Burg Schwaneck—a real castle from 1843—this camp combines the charm of history with modern comforts. Campers stay in cozy rooms, surrounded by forests, river views, and even a glimpse of the Alps! Each day kicks off with fun and interactive English lessons led by native-speaking teachers, followed by awesome excursions like bubble football, escape rooms, and trips into Munich’s city center. At KCA, every child gets the attention they need to learn, grow, and thrive in English.

But that’s just the beginning! Every evening brings new excitement with themed activities like talent shows, movie nights, discos, and more. Whether your child is climbing at a bouldering gym, exploring the zoo, or winning at bingo, there’s always something magical happening. Burg Schwaneck
Originally built in 1843 and renovated just recently, Burg Schwaneck is conveniently located just south of Munich. The facilities offer comfortable, 4-6-person accommodation and modern conference rooms in historical surroundings. Built on top of a hilltop along the shores of the Isar River, and surrounded by woods, we can even get glimpses of the Alps throughout the location, and the large outdoor space offers up many opportunities for active sports and play. There’s a wide range of possibilities for afternoon activities including swimming, trips to the city and its attractions, climbing centers, Cinemas and much more!

Meals are provided on a full-board basis, including breakfast and hot lunches. Note! Most dinners are “Brotzeit” typical do-it-yourself meat and cheese sandwhiches with soups.

Your qualified supervisors are native speakers from various countries who ensure that you have a carefree holiday and are always well looked after. They also act as your English teachers, so you have a dedicated contact person throughout the week. You can approach them anytime with questions or concerns.

Arrival: Sundays at 4:00 p.m.
Departure: Saturdays at 10:00 a.m.

Please note: A welcome ceremony takes place every Sunday at 16:30 p.m., and a closing/certificate ceremony is held every Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
