Week 1: Leipzig City Adventure

During Week 1, our English Day Camp takes place at the Jugendherberge Leipzig. From here, campers set out each day to experience the city while learning and speaking English.

The program combines English lessons with games, creative activities, sightseeing, and exciting excursions. Depending on the schedule, campers may visit Zoo Leipzig, explore the historic city center, take on an escape room or laser tag, and discover some of Leipzig’s parks and other attractions.

Weeks 2–6: Outdoor Adventure at Markkleeberger See

For Weeks 2–6, our English Day Camp moves to the new Jugendherberge Markkleeberg, right beside Markkleeberger See.

The beautiful lakeside setting gives campers plenty of opportunities to get active outdoors. The program may include swimming, canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, cycling, hiking, beach games, climbing, and team challenges. The nearby Kanupark also provides exciting opportunities for water-based activities.

Note: We provide an optional transfer from Leipzig HBF to the Markkleeberger See daily. Just see our booking form below.

KCA English Day Camp Leipzig – English, Adventure & Summer Fun!

Looking for an exciting English Day Camp in Leipzig? KCA combines English learning with games, sports, creative activities, and exciting excursions for a fun-filled week of summer adventures.

Campers spend each day from 9:00–17:00 with their group and experienced native English-speaking teachers. Our small, age-appropriate groups allow children to actively use English throughout the day rather than simply learning from a textbook. Each morning includes structured English lessons focused on practical communication, followed by a varied program of games, activities, and excursions.

Week 1: Discover Leipzig

During Week 1 of the Saxony school vacation, our Day Camp is based at the Jugendherberge Leipzig, giving us an excellent starting point for exploring the city.

Alongside their English lessons, campers head out for exciting Leipzig adventures. Depending on the weekly program, activities may include visiting Zoo Leipzig, exploring the historic city center, trying laser tag or escape rooms, visiting the Panometer, enjoying trampoline parks, and taking part in other games and team challenges.

It’s a great way to experience Leipzig while building English skills, making friends, and staying active!

Weeks 2–6: Outdoor Fun at Markkleeberger See

For Weeks 2–6, our Day Camp moves to the new Jugendherberge Markkleeberg, located directly beside Markkleeberger See just outside Leipzig.

The lakeside setting is perfect for an active day camp. Depending on the program, campers can enjoy swimming, canoeing, kayaking, cycling, hiking, climbing, beach games, and team challenges. Activities at the nearby Kanupark Markkleeberg add even more excitement.

A Day Camp packed with English & adventure

Every camp day brings a new combination of English, games, sports, creativity, and outdoor activities. Children spend the day together with their camp group and return home at 17:00 with new experiences, new friends, and plenty of stories to share.

Whether discovering Leipzig or enjoying the outdoors at Markkleeberger See, KCA Day Camp gives children an exciting way to improve their English while enjoying an unforgettable summer!

Jugendherberge Leipzig

Our Leipzig City Camp is based at the Jugendherberge Leipzig, providing an ideal home base for exploring one of Germany’s most exciting cities. Located close to the city center, the hostel gives campers easy access to Leipzig’s many attractions, parks, and cultural highlights.

Campers stay in comfortable shared rooms and have access to modern common areas and seminar rooms where our English lessons take place. The location is perfect for a camp that combines English learning with daily city adventures, including excursions to places such as Leipzig Zoo, the historic city center, laser tag, escape rooms, and other exciting activities throughout the week.

Jugendherberge Markkleeberg

For Weeks 2–6, our camp moves to the new Jugendherberge Markkleeberg, located just outside Leipzig and directly beside Markkleeberger See. Surrounded by nature and a huge range of outdoor activities, this is the perfect setting for an active summer camp.

The modern youth hostel offers comfortable accommodation, spacious common areas, and facilities for our English lessons. The surrounding area provides countless opportunities for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, hiking, cycling, beach games, and team activities. The nearby Kanupark Markkleeberg adds even more adventure, with exciting water-based activities and outdoor experiences.

With the lake and extensive recreation areas right outside the door, Markkleeberg gives campers the chance to enjoy a true outdoor summer-camp experience while still being just a short distance from Leipzig.

Our campers are provided with delicious full-board catering at the youth hostel. This includes a generous breakfast buffet and hot meals for lunch and dinner.

If your child has any allergies or special dietary requirements, simply let us know in our check-in form after booking!

The qualified counselors on-site are native speakers from various countries and ensure that your child enjoys a carefree holiday while being well cared for. They also act as English teachers, providing a consistent point of contact throughout the week. All our camps maintain a 1:8 staff-to-camper ratio.
