English Summer Day Camp in Frankfurt West

KCA’s Summer Camp on the campus of the Freie Waldorf School and the Goethe University in the Westend of Frankfurt is a great way to learn and practice English. Children and teens between the ages of 5 and 11 can join our English day camp full of games, songs, sports, and art – all in English. We hire the most energetic staff, sing the craziest songs, do the best activities, and go on field trips to the most exciting places. Read on for more information or click the “Book” button below. Full-Day English Immersion: We speak English all day!
Small Group English Lessons: Morning project/play-based English lessons
Experienced Native Speakers: Pedagogically trained language teachers.
Warm Catered Lunch: A nutritious hot lunch daily.
Afternoon Activities: 3 each afternoon (e.g., Archery, Baseball, Lacrosse, Origami, Tie-Dye, Beaded Jewelry)

Please note:
The first 3 weeks of the Hessen summer vacation (June 29 – July 17th) Camp will be held on the campus of the Freie Waldorf School in Eschersheim. The last 3 weeks (July 20 – August 7) Camp will be held at the Goethe University in Frankfurt Westend.

KCA’s Summer Camp in Frankfurt, hosted at the Freie Waldorf School and Goethe University, provides an immersive English learning experience for children and teens aged 5 to 12. The camp offers a full-day program from 9 AM to 5 PM, including three hours of English lessons in small age-based groups. Activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and field trips to local attractions like the Palmengarten and museums enrich the experience. The camp also offers extended care from 8 AM to 9 AM and 5 PM to 6 PM, with all meals, materials, and excursions included in the cost. Children develop their English skills while enjoying fun and educational activities.

The Goethe University’s beautiful Campus Westend, known for its historic buildings and green spaces, provides a stunning backdrop for the camp. Kids experience learning in university classrooms and enjoy afternoon activities in spacious outdoor areas. The camp emphasizes a mix of structured English lessons and exciting hands-on activities, such as baseball, archery, and soap making. With a 1:8 teacher-to-student ratio and native English-speaking staff, KCA’s Summer Camp ensures a high-quality experience for young learners, fostering friendships and language development in a fun and dynamic environment.

Freie Waldorf Schule Weeks 1 – 3
The beautiful open spaces and cozy classrooms at Waldorf School offer the perfect surroundings for our KCA camps. Its location close to the city center provides an array of possibilities for outings and the school’s communal spaces are ideal for our afternoon activities, such as sports, crafts, and theater.

Goethe University Frankfurt Weeks 4 – 6
Frankfurt’s Goethe University, or the “Campus Westend” is the perfect place to hold our Summer and Spring Camps. It is recognized as Germany’s most beautiful campus, and it’s easy to tell why. With its beautiful historic buildings, open green spaces, and new modern architecture, the Frankfurt Campus Westend offers KCA campers a world-class experience.

At all our English Day Camps we provide hot lunches.

Of course if there are any allergies or dietary requirements your child might have, just inform us during our check-in process after booking!

Your qualified counselors are native speakers from various countries, ensuring you have a carefree holiday and are well taken care of at all times. They also serve as your English teachers, giving you a consistent point of contact throughout the week. You can approach them anytime with questions or concerns. This camp maintains a supervision ratio of 1:8.

Our whole-day program runs 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday. You can also book extra care 08:00 – 09:00 or 17:00 – 18:00

Easily accesible via public transportation:

To get to Waldorf School, take U1, U2, U3 or U8 towards Ginnheim/ Gonzenheim/ Hohemark and get off at “Hügelstrasse”. It is a 5 to 10 minute walk from the station.

To get to University Campus Westend, take U1, U2, U3 or U8 towards Ginnheim/ Gonzenheim/ Hohemark and get off at “Holzhausenstrasse”. Or
take bus line M36 towards Bockenheimer Warte and get off at “Uni Campus Westend”
It is a 5 minute walk from the U-Bahn station. The bus stop is located directly at the entrance to the campus.

This insurance provides protection against financial burdens from illness or injuries that may occur before or during camp and can also cover (depending on the plan) loss or damage to personal belongings.
