KCA’s Summer Day Camp at the Augustinerkloster in Erfurt, Thuringia, is a great way to learn and practice English. Children between the ages of 5 and 12 can join our English Summer Day Camp full of games, songs, sports, and art – all in English. We hire the most energetic staff, sing the craziest songs, do the best activities, and go on field trips to the most exciting places. The Kloster provides a wonderful historic location right in Erfurt city centre, enabling a wide range of exciting nearby excursions. KCA’s Summer Day Camp at the historic Augustinerkloster in Erfurt, Thuringia, offers children aged 5 to 12 a fun and immersive way to learn and practice English. This full-day camp, running from 9 AM to 5 PM, is packed with engaging activities like games, sports, arts and crafts, and field trips to exciting local attractions such as the zoo, EGA Park, and museums. Located in the heart of Erfurt’s old town near the famous Krämerbrücke, the camp provides a unique opportunity for children to experience a historic setting while enjoying modern facilities. Campers make new friends, explore new adventures, and improve their English—all guided by enthusiastic, native-speaking staff.

The camp program includes three hours of structured English lessons daily in small, age-divided groups. Additional activities like baseball, archery, and soap-making keep the experience dynamic and exciting. Families can rest assured knowing that all meals, materials, and field trips are included with no hidden costs. With a warm lunch, a KCA T-shirt, and a certificate to commemorate the experience, KCA’s Summer Day Camp is a comprehensive, educational, and memorable experience for kids. KCA’s brand new Summer Camp at the Augustinerkloster in Erfurt is set in the heart of the city’s old town, just stone’s throw away from the world-renowned Krämerbrücke. Our new location in Erfurt offers spacious classrooms set in historic grounds, with excellent transport links across the city.

At all our English Day Camps we provide hot lunches.

Your qualified counselors are native speakers from various countries, ensuring you have a carefree holiday and are well taken care of at all times. They also serve as your English teachers, giving you a consistent point of contact throughout the week. You can approach them anytime with questions or concerns.

Our whole-day program runs 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday. At this camp we offer morning extended care 08:00 – 09:00.

We offer travel insurance which can be purchased at the time of booking. This insurance provides protection against financial burdens from illness or injuries that may occur before or during camp and can also cover (depending on the plan) loss or damage to personal belongings. It additionally supports early departure due to unforeseen events. Travel insurance gives you peace of mind that you are well-protected at camp and can enjoy your time worry-free.
