Please read and sign the following form to allow your child to go swimming with KCA

Dear parents,

Swimming together in swimming pools and lakes, taking boat trips or even just spending time by the water is an essential part of vacation camps.

We would like to inform you that we have a team member who has worked as a lifeguard for the American Red Cross. The DLRG station is located right next to our swimming area and has given us their direct telephone number in case of any problems. However, there is no official lifeguard for the beach.

We will test each camp participant’s swimming ability and give them a wristband that identifies them as a non-swimmer (only allowed in the water up to their chest) or a swimmer (allowed to swim to the swimming raft).

Please fill out and sign the following form, and please discuss the swimming test and plan with your child so they understand the process.

• Ich habe den obigen Text gelesen und erteile KCA die Erlaubnis, mein Kind zum Schwimmen an den Edersee mitzunehmen. Ich erlaube KCA, das Schwimmniveau meines Kindes zu testen und zu entscheiden, ob es zum Schwimmfloß schwimmen darf oder nicht.
  I have read the above and give permission to KCA to take my child swimming on the Edersee Lake. I allow KCA to test the swimming level of my child and determine whether or not he/she may swim to the siwmming raft.
• Ich erteile KCA die Erlaubnis, mein Kind zum Schwimmen an den Edersee mitzunehmen. Mein Kind ist Anfänger oder Nichtschwimmer und sollte im flachen Wasser bleiben (bis zur Brust)
  I give permission to KCA to take my child swimming on the Edersee Lake. My child is a beginner or a non-swimmer and should stay in shallow water (up to chest high).
• Mein Kind sollte nicht ins Wasser gehen.
