Learn English with our Day Camps, English Courses, and Overnight Camps

KCA had its first English camp in Frankfurt, Hessen in 2011 and since then thousands of children from Frankfurt and around the world have attended our camps in this beautiful German city. Our English Summer Day Camp is our largest – with up to 90 children per week attending during the summer holidays! Frankfurt is a wonderful city to host our English camps – the city itself has a very international population and every year kids from all over the world come together at KCA and learn that English is an international language and with it, you can speak to almost anyone.

We founded our first English camp here in Frankfurt Hessen and almost immediately it was a huge success. What started as a small summer camp, quickly grew to include camps in the Fall and Spring. As our Day Camp campers grew older, we began to offer our Intensive English Course for Teenagers, and later we added our Overnight English Camp near the center of Frankfurt so visiting children and teens could explore this wonderful German city. English Day Camps in Frankfurt, Germany
Our English Day Camps in Frankfurt are our most popular. We offer a Summer Camp, a Fall Camp, and a Spring Camp each year in Frankfurt where kids can spend the whole day learning and playing in English. Designed for children aged 5 – 12, we offer a full day of English immersion. We seek out the best, qualified teachers to lead our fun, play/project-based English lessons each morning. We provide a catered hot lunch at each of our Day Camps and following lunch, begin our activity rounds: three hours of activities ranging from sports, arts and crafts, theater, writing, and reading. Of course, we only speak English the whole day and encourage our campers to speak English as well through our KCA Bucks. When our teachers “catch” our campers speaking English, they receive KCA bucks with which they can then “buy” sweeties at the end of the day.  Every Wednesday we go on an excursion, and every Friday we hold our certificate ceremony where our campers perform their theater skits, their news reports about the week, and receive their KCA certificate for attending the best English camp in Frankfurt! The best part about our camps is seeing our returning campers come back to KCA over and over again.

English Overnight Summer Camps in Frankfurt, Germany
Our English Overnight Camp in Frankfurt is one of the best city camps we have. Our campers stay at the Frankfurt Youth Hostel in Sachsenhausen, one of the most desired neighborhoods in Frankfurt. Settled near the river, our campers can enjoy their morning English lessons, followed by excursions throughout the city each afternoon. We explore the many parks, museums, English movie theaters, and historic attractions that the city provides. Of course, we speak English the whole day, and in the evening have fun theme nights like Bingo Night, Disco Night, Games Night, and more. Our overnight campers tell us that by the end of the week they are thinking and nearly dreaming in English. Six days and seven nights at a KCA English camp fully immerse them into the language and they make a positive connection with English, new friends, and of course great memories that will last them a lifetime.

English Intensive Course in Frankfurt, Germany
We began our English Intensive Course for teenagers in Frankfurt when we realized that our Day Camp campers were getting too old for our regular camp program. Teenagers want and require more formal English instruction – grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, creating presentations, and of course lots of conversational English as well. We design our program to be a fun mixture of games, group and pair work, and focused English instruction so that each camper gets a variety of real-world English experiences. In addition to this, we provide each camper with an English textbook published by Cambridge which we use during our more focused English instructional times. In this way, we cover a wide range of grammar and vocabulary themes from which we can base our lessons. We offer an English intensive Summer Course, Fall Course, and Spring Course each year in Frankfurt.
