English camp courses for teens in Germany
KCA offers week-long, full immersion intensive English courses for teens from 13 years and up. From Monday through Friday 1pm – 5pm our teens dive into the four elements of English immersion: speaking, reading, writing, and listening, with certified and experienced English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers. Our intensive English campers are any teens who want to improve their English in any one of the above areas. Because we limit our group size to 8 participants, our teachers are able to target each student’s individual needs.
Each of our intensive English courses uses the world-renowned face2face Cambridge English books to spark conversation among our course participants. We recognize that in many school systems students simply do not speak enough English in class and therefore our primary focus is encouraging our students’ confidence in their spoken English. Of course, we focus on correct grammar, and vocabulary and therefore we utilize the students’ face2face workbooks throughout the course as well. KCA offers intensive English courses in Frankfurt, Berlin, and Munich. Our facilities are in some of the best private schools in each city, many offering SmartBoard access and technology-based learning to enhance our lessons.
Frequently asked questions
No, however our groups are small (maximum 8 students) so that our teacher’s can target each student’s individual learning needs!
We always maintain a teacher to student ratio of 1 – 8 campers – in this way our teachers can target each students’ individual learning needs and objectives.
Our main goal is to get our teens speaking as much English as possible. We have noticed that in many school systems students simply do not speak enough but spend time writing vocabulary lists or doing grammar worksheets. To get our campers speaking we play games and do group projects, interviews, presentations etc. These allow our campers to express themselves and their creativity as well as develop their confidence in English. Our campers tell us that our program is fun and many return each year.
