Founded in 2011 by husband and wife Stuart and Sarah, (along with their kids Jack and Zoe,) KCA remains a family-owned and operated business dedicated to giving children the opportunity to learn and practice English in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. In order to grow our English camps, while keeping the same quality and attention our parents and campers deserve, we have a number of amazing franchise owners you can meet on this page as well.

Qualifications: MA English Lit., TEFL

Hannah has been part of the Kids Camp America (KCA) family since 2016, beginning her journey as an English teacher and camp leader before becoming a franchise owner. Originally from London and educated at University College London (UCL), Hannah founded KCA Thüringen and has successfully expanded KCA’s immersive English camp programs across Thuringia. She lives the KCA ethos daily at home, raising her 3 kids bilingually together with her German husband.

Qualifications: BA Industrial Psychology, TEFL

Sarah joined KCA as the Director of our Frankfurt Camps in 2022 and was beloved there for many years. As the founder of KCA Nordrhein-Westfalen, she has played a key role in expanding Kids Camp America’s English immersion programs across the region. Through her leadership and commitment to high-quality language education, she has helped bring KCA’s unique “Don’t just learn English – live it!” philosophy to children and families throughout North Rhine-Westphalia.

Qualifications: BA International Business, TEFL

Karelia is the founder of KCA Berlin and leads Kids Camp America’s English immersion camps across the German capital. With a passion for international education and a strong connection to Berlin’s diverse community, she has established KCA Berlin as a welcoming environment where children and teens can build confidence in English while enjoying unforgettable camp experiences.

Qualifications: MA Linguistics, 2. Staatsexam, TESOL

Hüma will lead Kids Camp America’s programs in Mainz and Wiesbaden, bringing her passion for education, child development, and enriching learning experiences to families in the region. With a strong commitment to creating engaging and supportive environments for children, she is excited to expand KCA’s immersive English camp experience and help campers build confidence, friendships, and language skills through fun and meaningful activities.

Managing Director KCA Ingolstadt

Qualifications: Cambridge Celta

Shawnalee has opened and developed the Kids Camp America (KCA) Ingolstadt location, further expanding the organization’s presence in Bavaria alongside its established camps in Munich. She is dedicated to creating engaging English immersion experiences where children learn through fun, activities, and real-life communication in a supportive camp environment.
